Community development
Income support, skills and everyday welfare that help families and neighbourhoods become stronger on their own terms.
Stronger together
Permanent change rarely comes from a single event. It comes from steady, respectful work inside a community — training a mother a marketable skill, helping a widow start a small trade, or simply making sure no elder is forgotten.
Our community development program takes a long view. We invest in people's own strength rather than their dependency, while carrying the everyday welfare work that keeps a neighbourhood cohesive: seasonal support, shared meals during Ramadan and awareness sessions on health and family matters.
Areas of focus
- Economic dignity: skills training and micro-assets (e.g. sewing machines, starter stock for a small shop) for capable, willing families.
- Welfare safety net: regular care for widows, the elderly and people with disabilities through volunteers who visit and attend to real needs.
- Shared life: community iftar programs, medical-camp coordination, and education-awareness drives.
The long view
We measure success in the years ahead — in a daughter's small business still running, a widow's quiet independence, a neighbourhood that knows each other's names and needs. That is the Bangladesh we want to help build.
How you can help
- Fund a skills-training stipend or micro-grant.
- Sponsor a welfare visit program in a neighbourhood.
- Host or support a community iftar or health camp.
Help us plant change that outlives any single season of giving.
